What is Stock Recommendation?
Stock Recommendation is an inventory health dashboard available exclusively to Jumia Express sellers on Vendor Center. It gives you a live view of how your inventory is performing across all your FBJ products and tells you exactly when and how much to restock before you run out.
Instead of manually tracking your stock levels or waiting until a product goes out of stock, Stock Recommendation does the work for you flagging risks early and recommending the right replenishment quantities based on your actual sales data.
Note: Stock Recommendation is currently available for sellers with local Jumia Express inventory.
Understanding the Dashboard
At the top of the page you will find 5 key metrics giving you an instant overview of your inventory health:
| Metric | What It Means |
| Projected Lost Units | The number of potential sales you are at risk of losing if you do not restock in time |
| Total SKUs | The total number of your product SKUs tracked in this dashboard |
| In Transit | Units currently on their way to the Jumia warehouse with an open Consignment Order |
| Available Stock | Your current stock quantity sitting in the Jumia warehouse, ready to be shipped to customers |
| Suggested Replenish Quantity | The quantity Jumia recommends you send, calculated as: Target Stock minus Available Stock minus In Transit |
Understanding the Status Tabs
Use the status filter tabs at the top of the product table to focus on what needs your attention:

| OK | Products with healthy stock levels | No action needed |
| Out of Stock | Products with zero units in the warehouse | Urgent — restock immediately |
| Low Stock | Products running low and at risk of going out of stock soon | Restock as soon as possible |
| Sales Issues | Products with available stock but very low or no sales activity |

Why does “Out of Stock” matter so much?
When your Jumia Express products go out of stock, they lose their search ranking on the platform — and recovering that ranking takes time. Every day a product is out of stock is a missed sale and a step backward in visibility. Stock Recommendation helps you prevent this from happening.

| Projected Lost Units | Units you are projected to lose in sales if no restocking action is taken |
| Recommended Qty | The quantity Jumia recommends you restock based on your sales velocity |
| Replenish Quantity | Editable field — enter the quantity you plan to send in your next Consignment Order |
How to Create a Consignment Order
A Consignment Order (CO) is the order you create to send new stock to the Jumia warehouse. Stock Recommendation lets you create one in 3 ways:
Option 1: Single SKU
Best for: Restocking one specific product quickly.
- Find the product in the table
- Enter your desired quantity in the Replenish Quantity field
- Click the arrow icon next to the field to create the order for that SKU
Option 2: Multiple SKUs
Best for: Restocking several products at once without uploading a file.
- Select the products you want to restock using the checkboxes on the left
- Enter the replenish quantity for each selected SKU
- Click Bulk Creation in the top right corner
- Review your order and confirm
Option 3: Bulk via CSV Upload
Best for: Restocking a large number of products at once efficiently.
- Click Bulk Creation in the top right corner
- Download the CSV template
- Fill in your SKUs and the quantities you want to send
- Upload the completed file

Q: I don’t see Stock Recommendation in my Vendor Center. Why?
A: Stock Recommendation is currently available exclusively for sellers using Jumia Express (FBJ). If you are not yet on Jumia Express
Q: What does “Sales Issues” mean exactly?
A: A product flagged as Sales Issues has stock available in the Jumia warehouse but is generating little to no sales. This is usually related to listing quality or pricing,rather than a stock problem. We recommend reviewing your product title, images, description, and price compared to similar items.
Q: Can I change the Replenish Quantity that Jumia recommends?
A: Yes, the Replenish Quantity field is fully editable. The recommended quantity is a suggestion based on your sales data. You can adjust it to match what you are able to send.
